About Dr. Shiller
Dr. Shiller is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in child and family therapy. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale Child Study Center and has a private practice in New Haven, Connecticut.
Dr. Shiller works with a broad range of ages but has specific interests in treatment of young children, attachment, and trauma, as well as positive approaches to discipline. As a faculty member of the Young Child Section of the Yale Child Study Center, she teaches in a training program on Infant & Family Mental Health (joint with Austen Riggs.)
Dr. Shiller completed a clinical fellowship in psychology at the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Bush Center for Child Development and Social Policy, Yale University.
She is the author of two books, The Attachment Bond: Affectional Ties across the Lifespan (Rowman & Littlefield, 2017) and Rewards for Kids: Ready-to-Use Charts & Activities for Positive Parenting (American Psychological Association, 2003.) Rewards for Kids! is available in English, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese.
